I was born in Tulsa and raised in Muskogee, Oklahoma. I graduated from Ozark Christian College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Literature.
My wife, Molly, and I were married on May 30, 1998. We have two sons, Kadyn and Mikiah, and a daughter, Addison.
I served an internship at West Side Christian Church in Springfield, IL in 1997 and was the Student Minister at Countryside Christian Church in Monett, MO before coming to FCC in 2000 as the Student Minister. In May of 2003 I was given the privilege to start serving as the Senior Pastor.
I preach the majority of weekends at FCC as well as provide oversight to the staff and several key ministry teams. Since 2003 FCC has grown from an average Sunday morning attendance of approximately 800 to over 1200, we have relocated to a more strategic area of our community, as we have added an additional facility which allows us greater outreach to students and families in the Champaign-Urbana community.
I love Mexican food, college athletics, golf, and hanging out with close friends.
